We have cruised with Thompson for many years but this last cruise on the Spirit was really ruined by noise levels experienced in the cabin. Due to the noise levels experienced when the ship was maneuvering in and out of ports especially early mornings ruined our on board experience due to sleep deprivation one morning we were disturbed very early. I have recorded the level of noise and the vibration we experience. This cabin should not be used for paying customers as the cabins near to us were for staff.

Dining and entertainment was good and the entertainment team were very good and the service was very good. We did not use any of the shore excursions but we used the transfers to and from the ship to city centers ( but these transfers are not free.)

Our soul complaint is the cabin an the level of the noise and vibration throughout the cruise. Read more
