Family invited to do the TA with them on this new ship...We had never sailed on the Holland America. The Koningsdam was new and we enjoyed everything about...There were some complaints about the interior was not as old world as the previous ships..Since this was our first, it was great. We liked the cabin 8118. We thought the food was above average. Bothe the Lido and main dining room. Entertainment was good. The on-board speakers were very popular...It would have been nice if we could have caught the lectures on our state room TV.

We found the service to be good...both in the state room and dinning room.

We did not purchase any excursion from the ship. Found HoHo in many ports and felt that provided a good experience. Read more
