This cruise is a great opportunity to see Cuba and have some relaxation at the same time. Our cabin and our attendant were wonderful. The boat was very nice and there were several recreational activities planned, or you could just lay by the pool. We never tried the extra payment restaurant, but we were very happy with the sit-down restaurant. The buffet wasn't the best, but more than adequate. The excursions we went on were included in the cruise price and were very good. I think the people who complain about this cruise must be comparing it to a big, fancy cruiser and this is not that type of cruise. Read about the trip before you book it and manage your expectations. You are traveling to Cuba! I felt it was a good value.

p.s. The cruise line tries to be socially responsible. And at the end of the cruise, they refunded us the port charges that they were able to save, $43 pp. They could have just kept that money and we would never have known.
