Mixed review as to this cruise. Overall we had a good time. It truely is a huge ship! This is both a positive and a negative. Because it is so large there are lots of things to do and the Royal Promenade as well as Central Park are the highlights of the ship. The negative of being on a ship this large is when making your port stops. We were completely unable to port in Nassau because of the high wind that day and the size of the ship. The captain said if the ship was smaller, we would have been able to port. Other cruise lines were able to port that day. Also, in St. Thomas, most of the cruise ships port in downtown Charlotte Amalie next to the large shopping district and restaurants. Because of the size of the Allure, it cannot dock there and therefore docks in an industrial area kind of far away and has very limited shopping.

We did feel constant "ocean motion". Even on very calm sea days. The boat rocks gently at all times. (Nice at night in bed). I didn't expect to feel any motion given the size of the ship, but you do feel it.

Our room was fine and had a nice little balcony. Nothing special but nothing wrong. Basically pleased with the room.
