A nice way to have several days at sea and experience great Islands. The covered Solarium is great and has a nice small eating area for breakfast or lunch. Unfortunately the food has gone down hill. No Prime Rib was offered on the dinner menu. We ended up eating 2 or 3 Appetizers instead of an Entree several nights. This was our 3rd cruise on Serenade. Altogether I have cruised 89 times with over 15 on Royal Caribbean. When my companion had trouble breathing, the Medical team was excellent. They kept him overnight, did a full workup and supplied him with a breathing machine for the last night. The only problem was getting off the ship. The porter with the wheelchair who came to pick him up at the cabin could not take him off the ship into the terminal, so it was a long wait to get another porter with a wheelchair! The Concierge Lounge had an excellent waiter named Al.
Good use of space. Plenty of drawers and shelves. Could use more hangers. Would advise taking clothes pins to hang your bathing suit on the line in the shower.
My son met us and we drove out to Cape Cod the day before sailing.
