RCCL is our favorite cruiseline as they do whatever is necessary to provide a truly enjoyable vacation. Their staff is second to none in pleasing passengers. This ship we experienced some of the best in the dining room with an incredible waiter Jordan and his assistant who was just as terrific. If you can't find something to do on this ship you can't be satisfied by anyone. We had a cabin overlooking Central Park. I would have preferred our usual outside cabin. We like looking at the ocean. Preferred location of a cabin is also closer to either end by elevators which cuts down on much of the walking. Food is prepared well but choices are more limited than in the past. Like everything they are trying to keep cost down by using cuts of mean and fish where the cost is less. They still maintain the high quality of desserts and breads that they've always had.

Central Park View Stateroom

Cabin CV

Would have liked a location closer to elevators on either end and also ocean view rather than Central Park.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

Not much there and prices were exorbitant

Cozumel

They have really expanded the port and shopping. It is very nice with lots of variety of goods. Cab fare downtown is $8 each way so unless you have something specific you can do your shopping at the port and spend a little more.

Labadee

This is RCCL private island experience. It is very nice with lots of water activities as well as lots of things for the kids. They always provide a nice lunch as well. Not to be missed especially if you like the water activities.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Probably one of the best ports to embark and disembark a cruise ship. More organized than those in other parts of Florida

If you get bored on Oasis it is your own fault. There are plenty of activities for all ages. The agenda for shore excursions is diversive for every port. If you want to stay on board there is always something going on. The Oasis is like a "city at sea". There was a problem with tables in Windjammer not being cleaned off fast enough for people to sit for breakfast. I reported the problem to our Head Waiter and the next day the problem was solved and we never had a problem after that. RCCL does give it everything to provide good service and keep people satisfied.
