We went on the Discovery for a half term break with our 15 year old daughter. We had a balcony room on deck 6 and Hannah had an inside on deck 3. Both were well decorated and well looked after, no shower curtain problems here! Only one small point we couldn't lock the door to the balcony but it wasn't really a problem.

Overall we really enjoyed the cruise, which after departing Palma took in Cadiz, Lisbon, Gibraltar, Malaga and Cartegena . The ship was spotless and well looked after.

We mainly ate in the 47 Restaurant but also ate in Gallery 47 and the Surf and Turf. All were really good but the portions in the Gallery 47 could be on the small side. We had lunch and breakfast a couple of times in the Islands self service but it was a bit of a scrum at times and we reverted to the 47 for breakfast, which had a good choice and quick service.
