The Quest is nice, but I prefer the Journey.

Stayed two nights at the Royal Sonesta on Bourbon St. NOLA. Booked King sized room six months before cruise. When we got there we were told that all the rooms were sold out. They tried to give us a room that was used as a meeting room with a pullout sofa bed at half price. It was wasn't until we demanded to see the manager that we received a bedroom/bath from a suite.

The refurbishing presented a ship that is brighter and more cheerful. The Living Room on deck 10 is now a destination. At 5P tapas and drinks. Later some entertainment. The crew, as always is friendly and accomadating. Captain Carl however does not mingle with guests like Captain Johannes on the Journey.

The Chefs Specials in main dining room each night added to the dining experience. They also offer two different wines for white and red each day.

Club Continent Suite

Cabin N2

Very nice. However there is poor ventilation in the shower area causing musty order. This was solved by the cabin staff by placing a wedge under the shower door to keep the door open. After refurbishing, they neglected to add a safety bar in the shower.
