We enjoyed the ports on this cruise however the Golden Princess left a lot to be desired. The entertainment was lacking in both quality and quantity. The food and menu were less than average. The wait staff at our table were basically incompetent. The ship is tired along with the cruise director who has been in the job way too long (19 years). Basic port / shuttle information was missing, and shuttles were a bit of a joke (lots of very unhappy people). Princess Cruises need to get their act together to keep their current customers. There are many other cruise lines offering better value for money. Having said all of that we will stay with Princess - but not this particular ship or staff. We will not sail again on this ship or any cruise that has this cruise director. Had the cruise director done his job properly this would have been a much more enjoyable cruise. Yes, I am sending a list of suggestions to Princess for them to consider (or throw in the bin).

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Cabin was spacious but tired. No cover over balcony (no privacy and unable to use in rain or hot days). Old TV system. No on-demand movies, no USB ports.
