We are retired and like to cruise twice a year. RCCL is our favorite ship line and this cruise was on the Anthem of the Seas. We had excellent service in the Coastal Kitchen I say excellent because I have stomach issues but in this restaurant I was fine. They worked with me. Christa made sure everyone was well taken care of food wise!

We also had the pleasure of meeting the Godmother of the Freedom of the Seas who was on this cruise. Louise and her husband otherwise known as he who sleeps with the Godmother, fostered disabled and terminally ill children in fact over 400! I so admire her.

The Captain on the Anthem is extremely friendly, don't know who was steering the ship as he was all over the ship! Okay I do know there is no steering wheel!!!

Cabin Review

Cabin grand suite

cabin was very comfortable and always kept clean. the bathroom had 2 sink areas, full bath and always had enough towels! Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion was top rate.

We had the occasional animal visitor which is fun when one enters the cabin and is greeted by an elephant! There was a tv in the sitting area and one in the bedroom. The cabin Steward Selwyn met all of our needs graciously. So all in all a wonderful cruise AND no rough seas for a change!

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

walked the shopping area. Caution: there are curbs in front of the stores which, of course, I didn't see and fell but Diamonds International took me in and helped me then took me to the emergency room where I was treated. Difficult for some people to walk around due to the beautiful cobble stones.o

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

When the work is completed on the Bayonne Bridge the trip will be easier. The parking garage is absolutely great! The terminal road trip is a disaster. The traffic is backed up to the point it took us almost as long to drive that short distance as the drive from our home to the port. It was nice to go straight from the terminal to the ship no bus required.

Falmouth

Walked around the shop area. DId some shopping.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

walked around the shopping area.
