We chose a Viking river cruise because of the reviews, what was included on the cruise, and this particular itinerary. We were not disappointed! The tours were excellent. Each tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful when answering questions. We received a great overview of each city or town along with interesting historical content. The optional tours we elected to take were wonderful and significantly added to the quality of our experience. The artists and entertainers who came on board gave us the opportunity to experience even more of the culture of the area, and we made sure we attended every one! As far as meals go, I was surprised at the many food choices, and we appreciated having regional dishes on the menu. Each dish was delicious and well presented. Every single employee was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Several went above and beyond to make our experience special. We will definitely be sailing with Viking again.
