Wife and I just got back from a 13 night Canaries cruise on Navigator of the Seas (sailed on 28th October 2016), we are diamond + members and this was our 17th cruise with RCI on numerous ships.

Embarkation at Southampton:

Very smooth no problems

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Cabin (Junior Suite) was very spacious with walk-in closet for clothes and numerous drawers and shelves throughout the cabin.

One negative point is there was no coffee table so if you made a cup of tea or coffee and sat on the sofa you had to use the floor for your cup!

We asked for a coffee table and was told no cabins had coffee tables any more.

Port Reviews

La Coruna

Not sure why RCI choose to dock here, there's nothing special about this place, only shops!

Southampton

Good for shopping.

Vigo

Weather permitting Vigo is a lovely place to walk round and the people verty friendly.

Lisbon

Lots to see and do in Lisbon but be aware of beggars and pick pockets.

Lanzarote

Nice beah about 30mins walk from where ship docks.

Tenerife

We got a local bus (No 190) on main road to a beach for only 5euros return about 15minute journey each way, well worth it.

Madeira (Funchal)

Great place very friendly.
