Overall, it was a great cruise. There were some deficiencies in that the dining room food was good but not very good. The dessert menu was definitely lacking. There were same 4 choices every day with 1 or 2 lack luster choices added every day. There was only 1 dessert that was so good that I would have to ban it from my kitchen!! The desserts in the Ocean View were generally lack luster. However the pizza was the best I have had on a ship. The fresh omelets were outstanding. The hamburgers on deck 14 were very good but not as Guy's on Carnival (really you should do better than Carnival).

The cabins were outstanding, as was the service. It was nice to see the occasional deal on drinks, but they would advertise cocktails 50% off but it was limited to a certain selection.

I loved the activities director, Justin, but can't say the same for the cruise director, Alejandra. One only saw him on stage and at times his humour had too much bite when directed at the guests. I have to say that most people did seem to really like him.

Cabin 07

The cabins were gorgeous- spacious and comfortable. Nice décor, elegant colours.
