Arriving at the port we easily parked and entered the preboard area. New check-in as we have paper seapass sheets and our actual cards are outside/inside the cabins. Not sure this is saving any time, but it's a trial and see period. We did have a long wait to board and although we waited in the Diamond area, promises of being boarded by rows, this didn't happen. It became a free for all. Also while we waited there was a Caribbean theme walking band to entertain us. Way too loud for this enclosed area. High energy from the musicians, but couldn't wait for them to stop.
The Harmony is very close to her sister ships, Oasis and Allure. But, the cabins have a new design we thought were great. Our balcony, deck 7, cabin was well improved. No longer does the couch block access to the sliding door closet. There are two closets that flank the couch so we could both access without saying repeatedly, excuse me. Gone is that small oval table in the salon so there was more space to walk. Nice deep drawers next to the fridge. Enough storage room for 7 days easy. The bathroom has also been improved. A bit higher, oblong sink prevented some spillage onto the floor. The shower has one glass door and the interior seems larger. Also finally an adjustable bar for the shower head. The balcony chairs are now adjustable and high-backed along with a small stool. Equal to Celebrity's and loved spending some afternoon quiet time out there. The bed and pillows very nice. Be sure to have a dummy card to place in the slot so you can charge your devices and have A/C run while out of cabin.
First night we dined in Wonderland. Yes, expensive but a memorable experience with wonderful creations, decor and service. A highlight for us! Marlin as our server was one of the best ever.
Near stern of ship but very quiet. A longer walk to the elevator than desired but it was fine.
Long wait to embark
Didn't even bother to get off ship. Been there too many times.
