We were first time Carnival passengers and found some good quality and some not so good quality. We had an inside cabin which was comfortable and great service from the cabin steward. We thought not printing all photos and having passengers choose what they wanted and print only those was very cost saving. What we did not enjoy was the theater which was used for entertainment and activities. The seats were all the same height and you could not see the stage from the 5th deck. The entertainers were very good except the shows selected were not appropriate for a cruise. We did not appreciate the performer having his hands in his crotch area - that belongs in the streets and not on stage. A number of the areas for activities were very small and always crowded. This is the first cruise where we could not take games out of the library and there was only 1 table to use. Having a bar in the library made no sense to us. We will have to really consider the itinerary that Carnival offers before we will sail with them again.
We found the cabin roomy and the service from our steward was great.
What an easy town to walk thru. There are so many nooks and crannies that no matter where you walk you will find something of interest.
We were unable to take the cable to the top of the Rock but enjoyed celebrating Trafalgar Day with the British Navy and Army. There was a ceremony to honor their veterans and we happened to be at a pub that they all came to after the ceremony.
