I did a TON of internet research on this cruise before we went, heard everything, the good, the bad and the ugly. I also am experienced in knowing a lot of people who write reviews tend to do so to vent, this is not that type of review.

We booked this suite as we were sailing with a party of 20 for my wife's 50th birthday. Our two small children stayed with us in this room. Let me first point out that if your expectations are sheer luxury and being pampered...you aren't paying for it on this cruise...check your ticket price. This cruise caters to those who want to party, knowing that going in saves you a lot of heart ache later. We had 5 kids under 11 with us but everyone in the party used our room as the central meeting point. It was spacious, not huge or grand. The deck was a fair size...we sat 8 adults out there. It was clean, not spotless the only downside was that the toilet smelled but that wasn't a huge deal...I mean after all its a vacation. They put a roll away in there for my daughter and my son used the fold down bed. Our main bed was comfy. and we had plenty of room to maneuver around with 4 of us in there. We always kept the fridge stocked with wine and champagne and had preordered gift food to show up...that was fun...you never knew who would be at the door, family or food and drinks.

Yes the boat is old, but when you get the lower end cruises the people watching makes up for it big-time. The best part was seeing the whole spectrum from drunk party goers to dressed up elderly. The food was "meh" but we didn't get sick so thats a big plus. The dinners were nice and the waiters were very attentive.
