Just go to a nice vegas hotel. You don't even feel like you are on a ship. Port Everglades is an ugly, poorly organized way to start the dismal boarding process. RCL just doesn't seem prepared to handle the massive numbers of people at the "pier" (a vast, ugly, noisy warehouse). Boarding took over 4 hours of line after line and waiting. Totally impersonal feel. Dining is totally unpleasant in the main dining rooms -- you are "processed." Food is bland, despite lovely menu. Although only in service for a week or so, the Casio reeks of cigarettes so badly that we as non-smokers couldn't bear to do more than walk through the room. The ship itself and the rooms are very lovely and well done. Nice art on the ship. Some great shows. But who wants to spend a week living in a shopping mall on a boat? Overall, it feels like "blue collar paradise" with a Golden Corral down every hall.
