Sail Date: Nov 2016
Cabin: Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

My adult son and I were looking for fun, weekend adventure. The idea of sailing on the largest passenger ship in the world was appealing yet somewhat intimidating. Royal Carrbean made the experience special, and for a short, shakeout cruise, things went remarkably smooth.

Transfer for the Ft. Lauderdale airport was fast and inexpensive. We took a cab. We preferred it because we didn't have to wait around for an entire RC bus to fill up to take us two miles to Port Everglades. We had the same experience on the return trip. $15-16 each way.

Early Check (12:30) in was smooth and uneventful, although we heard later that a computer line was severed and many passengers were delayed in getting on. There were a lot of unhappy guests because of that, but RC recovered magnificently by providing FREE internet access for all guests for the entire trip! Nice job RC.

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C2

Very efficient cabin. Location was to forward part of Central Park. Mid Central Park would be preferable, but there is so much to do and see, why stay in your room except to sleep, shower and change?
