I'll start right out with the negative: RCL wasn't quite "Brilliant" enough to completely contain the sewer gas. My cabin and a few hallways had a little too much smell for my, admittedly sensitive, nose. But this is a 4 out of 5 rating, so it wasn't too horrific!

And, my goodness, there were tons of high-loyalty hoi·ty-toi·ty on this cruise! I get free laundry on Princess, but I'd never strut my stuff about it. It was a pretty strong dissatisfier: the combination of RCL putting-up signs keeping us noobs out of places, along with the braggadocios diamond-super-light-speed attitudes. OK, I'm done with that.

The rest was fan-dam-tastic! I really had a great time, and so did my wife, and although we're shoppers, we'll look a bit longer at Royal in the future.

Interior Stateroom

Cabin L

Space and storage, good. Beds, typical cruise ship mediocre. Bathroom, not good due to sewer smell and water pressure problems (next door cabin dropped pressure in the shower and changed temperature).
