The ship was undergoing upgrades. Problem was no bothered to tell us prior to booking. We all know about the refund so it’s not like we would have been able to cancel the cruise anyway. I fell as if Carnival sailed a ship that wasn’t prepared at the expense of the customers. Sad thing is I invited 2 other couples to join us because we had such a good time with the same cruise line different ship in September. I made huge mistake picking Carnival this time. The smell of garbage or crap on the 1st-3rd floor was horrendous. We moved table 3 times and the second time the service was and food was so bad that we was not going to return to dinner. The 3rd time we were place with a very good team and received very good service. I tipper the team with cash and so did the other two couples. Worst cruise I have ever had. Looking for other cruise companies from now on.
