What a GREAT trip! We stayed at Marriott Biscayne Bay. Centrally located, not the best neighborhood, but during the day we never felt unsafe. Eat breakfast or lunch at The Daily! That place is amazing. Spent Friday and part of Sat. hanging out in South Beach. This was Urban Weekend, so the crazies were out in force, but still it was fun people watching. Dinner at at Lario's South Beach early (best option as it gets loud later on) had Vaca Fritas - excellent - and more than a few mojitos Be careful, they are $11 apiece! This is our 3rd cruise on RCCL. My best advice is don't eat in Windjammer. Eat in the dining room, table service is worth it. You'll be glad to be away from the pushy crowds.Saturday - Boarded at 2:30, print your SeaPasses ahead of time and getting through embarkation is a breeze.Sunday - At sea, we just hung out on deck, I got burned after only an hour with no sunscreen - duh - use sunscreen folks!Monday - At sea, wife and girls did rock climbing wall. Fun, but some of the helpers are better at telling you where to put your hands and feet since this was a new thing for everyone. At night, went to show, Disney-themed (don't know how they got away with that one) Tuesday - St. Maartin. We didn't do a RCCL-sponsored tour as we had been here 4 yrs ago. We hopped a cab and went to Marigot. Go to Marigot, you'll be glad you did, it's nicer and cleaner, but beware of your time, traffic gets nuts in the afternoon.Wednesday - San Juan, Puerto Rico. Wife and girls did rain forest tour. Folks, skip it unless you don't mind the 1.5 hour ride there and 1.5 hour ride back. I did the Bacardi tour. Not that fun, but you do get free drinks while waiting on your tour. You never get to see the inside of the plant, just the visitor center, so I'd say skip it, not worth $35.Thursday - Labadee, Haiti. Definitely a highlight. Go early, go to the farthest beach, and re-lax. The first beach you come to is on a cove and it gets really hot. Go a little farther and the beach is a bit rocky right by the water, but it's windy and cooler, plus you get to watch the zip-liners go by.Friday - at sea. The ship is traveling slower and so it's calmer on board. We were all sunned-out so we hung out in the Solarium and read and slept. After our 8:30 dinnertime, at 11pm we did Karaoke in the On-Air club. That was really fun to watch. My wife sang "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon.Saturday it was back to reality! If you have any Q's, ask away. As a footnote, I use a wheelchair, and these big RCCL ships are extremely friendly for disabled folks, pushbutton bathroom doors, low/no thresholds on the doorways and the accessible staterooms are huge!
