We took a family trip to Cuba as my husband's mom immigrated from there in the 1950's. It was her first opportunity to go back, and my husband's to see his mom's birthplace.
The ship was beaiutiful and the perfect size for this type of trip. All the travelers had the interest in Cuba as a commonality and were very friendly and open about sharing their experiences on the island. This was not a party atmosphere, rather a cultural experience, and I loved that about it. No silly poolside contests and games that you find on other cruise ships.
My only suggestion for improvement would be providing authentic Cuban cuisine onboard. The food was more international which was similar to what we got in the restaurants on the tours as well. So I had to return to the states to get really good Cuban food.
