We chose this cruise because we like the Viking ethos (as portrayed on TV and in their brochures).

From the moment we were met at the airport, we were looked after really well by friendly helpful staff. We were taken straight on to the ship - no messing! Check-in was fast and straightforward.

The Viking Star is beautiful - under-stated elegance - very relaxing. We were late arriving and a light meal was waiting for us in our room together with a bottle of wine. Read more
