I went on the cruise with a group. My group was good but Carnival was lacking. Even with the large group I came with (approx. 180 people) we kept getting bumped from our reserved space for things like stupid art actions. I can garuntee that I am going to push my group to go back to Celebrity or Royal Caribbean for all future cruises.

I am used to the service Celebrity and Royal Caribbean, both of whom take very good care of you. Next, my room attendent only checked once a day and wasn't very helpful at any other time. If I asked for something like a dry towel to take to the pool, you would have thought I had asked for the moon. The one night I went to the dining room, after an hour we still hadn't received our main dishes. I didn't bother to go back.

Now I am still sitting and waiting more than 90 minutes after we docked and despite the fact I kept my luggage and should have had a quick off, I am still sitting on deck 5 and not allowed to leave. I have a 14 hour drive home ahead of me and this poor planning is completely unacceptable. Basicly unless you are a good or platinum member you don't matter.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

The cabin was very generic. It was okay, but not great. The mattresses need to be updated.

Port Reviews

Belize City

I did t get out of the port do to distance to travel to reach excursion points.

Cozumel

Decent port. Stick to paradise beach if you don't book a tour.

Galveston

I just spent the night before the cruise. Good beach walking from a hotel right on the water.
