We did a 7 day trip from Mandalay to Bagan. Cabins: small but with quite generous storage. Beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was bigger than expected with a huge storage cupboard, and a large shower. Due to the room opening onto a promenade deck , curtains needed to be drawn for privacy, so could have been dark, but the lighting was very good. Food: This was exceptional. At breakfast fruit, cereals, bread and pastries were on the buffet, and then you ordered your hot breakfast. Lunch and dinner had a choice of usually 3 options for the main course, ordered at the previous meal sitting. Some courses at lunch were buffet. It was all freshly cooked and nicely presented. Drinks: Tea, coffee, beer, water, local spirits and a small selection of soft drinks were free flowing and included. Each day there was a cocktail hour with cocktail of the day. Excursions: these were included and ranged from walks through villages, coach rides amongst the temples and local transport experiences. All high quality. Staff and Crew: Amazing! All went out of their way to help you. So friendly. Some of our group had food allergies which were catered for exceptionally well. We will always remember Party Night, when everyone danced round the deck with the Captains Hat passing from person to person. Maintenance: we had a big issue as the air con was not working on the first night, by midday the following day a new unit had been installed - very impressive . Laundry: we did not use this facility, as we did not know it would be available. It was very cheap (e.g. a T-shirt $2 and trouser $ 2.75) and from what we heard it was very efficient. It could have saved us some luggage. In summary we had a great time and would recommend Pandaw to anyone, in fact we plan to use them again in other countries.

Fascinating, Exceptional.....Superlatives
