We chose the Spice Route because of the itinerary and the timing of the cruise. The Quest had just been through a refit in Singapore and it looked great. The embarkation and disembarkation were very smooth.

We booked an Oceanview cabin and were upgraded to a balcony which was a lovely surprise as first-time cruisers with Azamara.

There were lots of activities for sea days and the entertainment was very good for a small ship. We particularly enjoyed the dancers and band.

Club Veranda Stateroom

We knew the bathroom was small, having cruised on a the same type of ship previously. However, we were very disappointed that the shower curtain had not been replaced with a door during the refit. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage.
