Cabin: Suite with Balcony

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. The ship (Coral Princess) was a good size and in good shape. We had a suite and were disappointed to learn that Princess doesn't offer nearly the same personalized suite amenities as Royal Caribbean. Our cabin was D703. My husband is 6'5" which is way too tall for the bathroom doorways in this suite! He busted his head open a couple of times before the learning curve kicked in and he'd remember to duck - especially in the middle of the night in the dark. Going through the Panama Canal was amazing and Princess has a guide who transmits over the speakers and channel 41 in the cabins to walk you through the transit. He also provided lots of history. Very informative and truly completed the experience. We did one private tour in Cartagena because of the heat and age of our travelers. We booked a tour through Princess in Costa Rica and enjoyed it, too.
