Sail Date: Oct 2016
Cabin: Junior Suite

We were trying to reach our diamond plus so we booked a junior suite. Wow what a great surprise when we entered our cabin. It was spacious. We had a Queen size bed, sofa and lounge with ottoman. Plus a walk in closet. Enough space to spread out and relax. Then when we opened the door to the balcony, wow, 2 chaise lounges plus 2 chairs & table. We've had Jr. Suites before but this one was really special.

We were sailing with our son and daughter-in - law. They had the Suite next to us so we had the steward open the divider and had a larger balcony. Great beginning, hope the rest of the cruise will be as good!

We had anytime dining but choose to eat between 5:45 and 6o'clock, giving us enough time for a few cocktails, some hors d'oeuvres and meet some fellow cruisers. Our waiter and his assistant proved they truly deserved to be working there because they were both professional and efficient. We usually bring some herbs with us and mix them with olive oil to dip our bread (we like the little poppy seed breads) instead of using butter. We had him bring us the oil and showed him why we wanted it. From then on the oil was waiting every evening when we arrived. My husband had the soda package and we were surprised that after he showed it to the waiter, his glass was never empty. Other times he had to ask for more. Kudos to our waiters!!
