Hi I chose this cruise because it left from NYC, so no flying and I was off from work for a few days. It was as a belated celebration for my husband 50th birthday and we left our four kids at home .This was my third cruise on carnival. I have also sailed on NCL, Disney, and mostly RCL. Embarking was the best and has improved from the last time we boarded from NYC a few years ago.

Loved all the food options like Guys and the Blue Iguana as soon as we went to lunch.

The Havana area always had seats available and I loved the view from here. Our rooms were ready by 130pm

Cabin Review

Cabin Interior

Cabin was in a great location at the front of the ship and no public rooms above or below us. there was no fridge in this cabin, so we couldn't bring anything really back to the room.

Also, I did not like that there were no night tables and so my glasses and phone had to be put on the floor.

Port Reviews

Saint John (New Brunswick)

I have been here before and did a tour via another cruise line. it is ok , we just got off the ship and walked around. I went to the jewish heritage museum and then to the drug store to pick up a candy called coffee crisp that we do not have on Long Island for my kids

Halifax

We just went to the Canadian Immigration museum and walked a bit on the harborwalk, very nice port
