Sail Date: Oct 2016
Cabin: Porthole

We chose to set sail out of Charleston SC. Mainly because we have never been there and it was a shorter drive. No problem with getting on or off the ship. Everything went smooth with that. The Cabin was small as to be expected. Pillows were way to soft. 2 pillows on top of each other will go flat as soon as you put your head down. No complaints as far as the cabin. It was kept clean.

The Jacuzzis on the adult only side was cold for the first couple of days. Had to go to the family side. Their Jacuzzi was hot. But had to deal with Kids in the Jacuzzi without their parents. The were doing head stands and trying to swim. Two small children got in and the water in the middle was almost over their heads. Parents sitting a few seats away. They called out to their mom a couple of times. But they were not paying them any attention. They were looking at their phones. I am not upset about the kids being in the Jacuzzi, but the fact that the parents were not even monitoring them.

First day at sea. My husband and I got sea sick. We both spent almost the whole day in our cabin. I called the medical clinic on board 3 times. They did give us Meclizine at a charge of course. When I called back to say it did not work. I was told they could give us phenergan which would knock us out, I told her that we did not want to be knocked out the whole time. She said "Well you could come and see the doctor." By the way is 125.00. I asked her what he would do different. She said nothing but give you phenergan. This is our 7th cruise. Neither of us have ever been sick before. But on this day the ship was very rocky. I am disappointed in their attitude. We found out later that a lot of people got sick. After 3 calls. No one came to check on us. I have never been on a ship that moved this much.

The cabin was clean. No complaints with that. We were on 4th floor at the very front of the shift. Very noisy. You felt every movement and noise made by the propeller.
