Let me start with the good parts of the ship and cruise. First, the staff – they were outstanding! From our cabin steward to the waitresses and waiters in the dining rooms, to the bartenders in the various clubs, to the guest services personnel, all of them were absolutely gracious, friendly, and did everything they could to be of assistance. Above excellent, I would have to say.
Second, the food – as usual, Carnival has wonderful food! The 555 Fahrenheit Steak House was exceptional, and the Sushi Bar was delicious even while a bit sparse on item variety. I definitely want to mention the “adult” beverages – they were very good! In fact, the bartenders made sure our drinks were fully “adult”!!
Now, for the bad news. For a newer ship, I would have expected their ventilation system to be top of the line. I get that the casino is a smoking venue. I do not go into the casino at all – on any ship. As a non-smoker, and one who literally gasps for air around cigarette smoke, the ventilation on this particular ship was absolutely unacceptable. The odor and smoke permeated the open areas around the casino and even came through the vents into the dining room below.

Cozumel
Love Cozumel - took a carriage ride and walked the city. Stopped at Papa Hogs for a bite and had the BEST pico de gaillo ever!!
Belize City
Toured the city with a private tour guide - had a package stolen from his car. Tour was not what we expected as we ended up having to take other people back to the pier on OUR tour. Was told we would see both city and country - after he left us to go pick up another couple at a water park where we went ahead and ate lunch, he then returned with the other extra two people, on OUR tour, we asked him about the rest of our tour that was supposed to show us the "country" - he said we went through the country on the way to the waterpark to pick up his other riders. Waste of our time and money. Don't waste your time or your money in Belize. And, the first couple he had to pick up stole my purchase I had made earlier that I unfortunately left in the tour car! Had I known he was driving a "pick up service/wanna be Uber" I never would have left my package, nor would my friend and I have booked a tour with him.
Roatan
Took a tour bus (non Carnival excursion) to the West Bay Beach. It was nice.
