We sailed from Barcelona after a three day visit to the city. The Silken Gran Havana was lovely and centrally located. I had made reservations with Barcelona Day Tours for airport pick up and an 8 hour tour of the city plus Montserrat. They also picked us up from the ship to visit Sagrada Familia. I was very pleased with their services and for 4 women it made touring easy and comfortable.

Embarkation was a breeze and within the hour we were in our cabin. We had aft cabin 2153, a Sky suite. Aft is our favorite location having had 2151 with wrap around balcony for a two week cruise to Australia/N.Z. The next door neighbors complained about noise from the Oceanview Cafe above us but it didn't bother my daughter or me.

Our butler was Felix and stewards, Nelson and Jimmy who came to introduce themselves as soon as we arrived. All three were professional and made sure we had everything we needed. They were the best. We lucked out again with our waiters,Yavuz Balkan and his assistant Rodwin. They were attentive and most accommodating. Both offered a different meal if anything wasn't to our liking which in my opinion is over and above normal service. We dined in Illuminae once after the Concierge called to ask why we weren't dining there but we were with friends not in suites so chose to eat in the MDR with them. Honestly, the food was fabulous in both.
