With a 5 year old we thought it was time to try a Disney Cruise. The cruise itself was good, it just wasn't any better than Carnival, Royal Caribbean or Norwegian. For triple the price I think we just expected more than normal. The food in the dining areas was amazing, with larger portions than any of the other cruises we have been on. The alternative foods available the rest of time it was just so so. Getting on and off the boat went the smoothest I've ever seen. The cruise also included a day at Disney World with 3 anytime fast passes included in our included ticket, as well as transportation to and from the boat. The kids play area was enormous with two different areas that were attached. The problem with this was it's where all the kid activities were and parents couldn't go in there. There just wasn't enough for us to do together on the boat. O'Gills is the only area inside the boat with a bar open all the time and it got quite busy in there and there were never more than 3 employees working it at any given time. Richard and Romain were our dinner staff and they were wonderful and friendly and attentive, we loved them! Overall the disney cruise wasn't a bad experience it was just overpriced. For the amount I just think we expected more.
Cabin was in a good location very close to the elevators. Entertainment was either 3 or 4 floors directly below us and we were below the adult only area on the 9th floor. Fermin was our stateroom attendant and while he wasn't as talkative as we have had in the past he did an excellent job keeping the room clean at all times.
Easiest port we have ever been too.
It's Disney's private island. Food was included and was pretty good. Water was clear and beach wasn't overly crowded. Overall a very nice beach.
