we chose this cruise for a bit of fun for our 2 Grandsons and my husband. we heard it was the newest ship yet and the 4th biggest cruise ship in the world, as soon as we heard NCL was coming to Southampton we rushed on the web and booked! we had booked an balcony on deck 14 so we were very high. i didn't know it was high because when your with NCL they pick it for you, you cant pay extra to choose where your cabin is! we got at ocean terminal ( we like ocean terminal a lot, we went on ventura in that terminal) we arrived after McDonalds breakfast ( best ever, i had a bacon baguette). i would highly recommend it if your at Southampton and your struggling to find a breakfast the kids will like.

we got at the terminal at 11:00am and boarded 11:20am best we have ever had ever! we walked to deck then we went to the garden cafe to have lunch and...... every single chair was used! there was no space whatsoever! we were hungry maybe we could go to the main dining room taste, but full up as well! we went back up to deck 16 to the garden cafe and there were lovely happy waiters helping us find a table 5 points for that! we had an announcement from the cruise director our cabin was ready but we didn't go yet because they're lots of ques for the lifts ( as always on this ship ) we waited half an hour to actually find a lift! as only 2 sets of lifts for 4,500 passengers is not enough ( what are ncl doing?) we went to taste for dinner ( loved it!) i had the chefs recommended chicken ceaser salad. our cabin overlooked other balconies ( would not like to be in those cabins!). our cabin was spacious and modern with USB chargers, the beds were comfy. there was a prom deck with the famous 5'O'clock bar. you CAN walk on the bow but its not connected to the promenade. the pool deck was small and split into two so it was crammend and horrible the pool is always packed and people hog the sunbeds! it is disgusting to see NCL being lazy and not putting in big pools and making there ones packed! i liked the water park, high ropes, mini golf and H20 all good for kids and middle aged adults. but i think the NCL escape needs more improvements and there are ques everywhere! the ship was a bit to big for me and bigger is definitely NOT BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

our cabin was spacious, luxury, modern and fantastic.the beds was alright and the bunk was ready to come down easily. we heard a lot of funny funnel sounds because we were under them, we smelt sewage and it made feel sick!!!!!!!!!!
