Was a little wary of condition of Grand Princess as some reviews not good, but we found the ship to be excellent. Food in main dining room and the Horizon buffet we could not fault. Entertainment was excellent. Dwight Blake, a singer/ pianist was one of the best singers we have heard. Excellent. All staff were very obliging.

We booked our shore excursions well before we left and they were all excellent. We loved the village of Solvang best of all. Well worth the trip. So many great shops. We also thought Santa Barbara was a lovely place. LA was interesting . The Getty Museum was very good. Gardens were beautiful. We couldn't believe that Rodeo Drive was so quiet, no people. We also enjoyed San Diego, lovely place. Embarkation was so easy, we wheeled off our own cases and stored them at Pier 39 as our fight back to Australia was not till 11.30pm. GREAT CRUISE

Cabin OC

We found the cabin to be in a great position. Close to everything. Very quiet. Perfect. Grace our room attendant did a great job. We rarely saw her but she seemed to always have our room tidy. Well done. Beds very comfortable. Highly recommend this cabin
