Sudana, our stateroom steward, was great! Our room was kept very clean, and he always greeted us with a smile and by our first and last names. We never had a chance to mess up the cabin because he was always right behind us cleaning and making it look perfect. The food was great as usual. I know some people complain about the food on cruises, but my husband and I really enjoy the food, from the lido deck buffet to the dinners served in the dining rooms, we enjoy it all. And we made several visits to the coffee bar where the desserts are to die for. Embarkation was a breeze, but disembarkation was a bit of a pain. We waited over 45 minutes in the lounge without hearing a word from any cruise personnel about what we were supposed to do; so not enjoyable on an empty stomach. Our cabin was extremely noisy! See cabin review below. The water pressure in the shower was awesome.

Our excursion at Half Moon Cay didnt go quite as I had seen it explained. We were the first ones off the boat, so we didnt really have time to eat breakfast, but that was okay because I thought we were supposed to have food and drinks waiting on us when we reached our cabana. Not so. The food didnt arrive until about 30 minutes after we arrived at the cabana, and then staff came around to collect the food, towels, etc. around 2:00 so we didnt have a chance to enjoy it all.

Overall, this wasnt a good trip for me, as the water was rough and it lead to me being seasick 4 out of the 5 days on the ship, but Carnival couldnt help that. I think it's time we moved up to a bigger ship where there are more things to do.

Cabin 6E

Our cabin was very clean and remained cleaned throughout the whole cruise. The drawers were a bit worn and it was difficult sometimes to get them open and closed. There was only 1 working outlet, but on day 3 the outlet stopped working and we had to call maintenance to come look at it. It was fixed and back up and running very quickly. The closet doors had to be pushed closed hard just so they would stay closed. The volume on the TV was awful, sounding like the speakers were blown. The water pressure in the shower was awesome. The biggest problem we had with this cabin was ALL THE NOISE. It sounded like things were hitting the ship right outside our window during the night, there was a constant machine humming, and it sounded like things were being dragged across the floor right above us. We tried to sleep with the TV on but that didnt help. There were plenty of sleepless nights!
