We chose this cruise due to an exceptional offer conveyed via our Travel Agent. Queens Grill Level, with almost-all additional charges that would be normally incurred "included" at no charge. These were Suite attendant, Dining Room servers, and any beverage (alcohol or special coffee) under $12.00. No charge. Plus, at the Queens level--Butler service; large stateroom; availability of Concierge Lounge; and separate Grills Lounge. What is not to like? So, yes.

My wife and I have been cruising for 21 years, almost-always on smaller, "all inclusive" lines--Silversea, Seabourn, Regent, and Crystal. Our only previous Cunard experience was aboard the Queen Victoria in 2011 on an extended Atlantic crossing from Miami to the 'Med; then to Southampton. This was at the Britannia level. No concerns, given the size of that ship.

But still, quite a change from a "cruise ship" concept with no more than 900 passengers (usually 450 to 700) to a real "ocean liner" accommodating 2600+ passengers. QM2 was the largest ship we have ever sailed on.

Queens Suite

Cabin Q6

Excellent. Large balcony. Well-appointed. Plenty of storage space. Large walk-in closet. Separate seating "make-up" area for my wife.
