Demarcation at HK was a fiasco, not enough staff on arrival with no welcome, very long queues for a piece of paper that could have been sent out in advance. Virtual screen worked only 1 day out of 7, despite repeatedly reporting. Drinks package misrepresented at time of booking by planet cruise staff, so not directly RCLs fault but understand from a rock staff member that titling of drinks packages changed at some point- so an apparent lack of communication between agents/cruise company, if true and at the expense of the customer. Information both written and oral was contradictory and spent far too long most days queuing at guest services seeking clarification.Didn't meet anyone who was happy irrespective of their nationality from first time and world travellers and frequent users of RCL. We enjoyed the entertainment shows in particular the ice show and comedian. Second dining guests should be able to see a late night show, not one scheduled at 06:45 when you are getting ready for dinner. Inexperienced staff in sapphire dining room, waited 45 mins for our drinks on first night, but thank God for Josef rescuing the staff many many times and was exceptional. Food quality not always good, no apology from the chef who our head waiter called not at our request. Common experience of bars running out of certain drinks on the first few days - how can this be so, but symptomatic of some bar staff just making excuses. Trips we took were well organised by Saigon tours and good value. Sanya as a port was a waste of time, RCL find another port offering more. Chinese authorities were a disgrace, staff struggled to cope.
