Beautiful ship. Mostly everything planned very well. Staff courteous and helpful. Food & bar service excellent. Tours interesting and informative. Both guides & bus drivers very competent.

Disembarkation however a nightmare. Cruise director did warn us to check our safe deposit box carefully, which was done. Suitcases had to be out of cabin by 3.00 am. Off ship by 4.00 am. Took a shower 2.30 am to try and wake up. Then after, door to bathroom open and forgot that my much loved nightshirt from Victoria's Secret was hanging on bar behind door. Got on bus to Bordeaux airport and somehow stumbled onto plane. At Paris airport could not get into Air France lounge which had been possible when leaving San Francisco. Long wait to get on flight. Was so exhausted could not sleep. Long wait for all passengers at San Francisco airport to get onto bus to San Louis Obispo. Being tired and run down, like some others, came down with a bacterial infection. That I can overcome but what hurts me more is that after reporting my nightshirt forgotten in bathroom, was told it was not found.

Uniworld should stress to cabin cleaners to turn in anything forgotten in cabins. In other words, they keep what they find!

Cabin Review

Stateroom with Window

Cabin 2

Cabin somewhat small and no room for suitcases that had to be on top of table and chair.

Took awhile to understand the heating.
