Chose this cruise because of the destinations. Found embarkation could have been handled better ie. long time queuing. Hard sales for drinks packages which were extortionate compared to other cruise lines, speciality restaurants and always pushing for booking another cruise in the news letter received every evening in the cabin. Excursions were also expensive compared to other cruise lines and not always value for money. The staff were nice and we did enjoy the cruise but found not a lot to entertain us for the days at sea. Found the cruise director of entertainment very annoying couldn't talk without shouting. No he wasn't awesome as his catchphrase goes. This was a first cruise with celebrity and was a bit disappointed as recommended by a friend. Found the ship a bit tired in places and although there was a rule about reserving sun loungers etc. never saw his implemented at any time. Most annoying. Would be nice if at the buffet restaurant someone could show you to a seat. Hunting for one was a chore at times so avoided it most of the time. These are observations made by myself and not complaints as such.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2B

Cabin 2B

Spacious. Chairs on verandah a bit tatty. Overall quit good.

Port Reviews

Honolulu

Only one day stay here. Not what I imagined Honolulu to be. Loved the hotel we stayed in right on the beach.

Bora Bora

Did our own thing round the island on Le Truck. Not enough time at the designated stops.

Tahiti (Papeete)

Ok. People friendly. Wandered around. Had a drink etc. Shopping quite expensive.

Moorea

Enjoyed the stalls at the waterfront. Apart from that a bit out from the main part so have to taxi in. Not a lot of taxis about. Would suggest a boat ride if you are a water lover.
