Sail Date: Oct 2016

The reason we picked this cruise was because it sailed in and out of Vancouver so we didn't have to fly to get to it. We usually cruise on Holland America and they have everything we like , so this review will be biased. There is nothing BAD about Princess, just different, so I hope this will help people decide it this is for you. The ship is large so there is lots of walking to go anywhere. This cruise was sold out so lots of people eveywhere.

Embarkation was a bit of a hassle, because it was the end of the cruise season and they only had about 4 U.S. immigration officers on so we lined up for over an hour to get processed. My husband's cane was in our luggage and I should have pulled it out to get into the expedited line. We were told the dining room was not serving lunch, but kept looking and did find a dining room open for lunch. Of course it was not cowded - lucky us.

We had booked a guarantee room which means the cruise line assigns you the room close to departure. We were given a handicap room and really enjoyed it. It was huge with a large walk-in shower. This was the real up-side of this cruise. We spent more time in our room than usual.
