Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We booked this cruise from a retirement gift certificate for my husband! We had sailed with Royal Caribbean before and wanted to go back. It did not disappoint! Oasis of the Seas is beautiful and humongous! The neighborhoods really did help with navigating the ship-I was worried about finding everything... Our waiters in Silk were awesome!

EMBARKATION

We got to Port Everglades around 10:30am and we were on board by 11:30. Our rooms were ready by 1pm. Easiest embarkation ever!

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Our cabin was on Deck 12 near the forward elevators. Perfect location for convenience. This ship is large and we did a LOT of walking! We had a balcony but did not use it very much. I miss it when we don't have one but this time because we were with two other couple, I believe we could have done without it. We were just too busy to relax there.

We had 12560, 12562, and 12564. The balcony divider DOES NOT open between 12562 and 12564. When we booked, we were told that they could be opened. There was a service door across the hall from 12560 and it got very noisy in the mornings. The crew did not close it easy but let it slam often! The cabin was adequate and the storage worked well for us.
