We booked this cruise because it is the perfect length for a week of vacation( leaving a few days for chores at home or to visit friends). We enjoy Carnival and know we get a great value. The upgrades to the ship were noticeable and enjoyable. The Guy's Burger joint looked fun and the burgers were great. Had the pig patty, which was a bacon delight, and the chilius Maximus was outstanding! The main dinning room is never disappointing, but we did miss the lobster dinner that was included in the past. I always enjoy the variety of soups. Breakfast was good in the buffet, and great in the main dinning room. Went to the sea day brunch. Tried the pork dish, that was reviewed on cruise critic, and we both thought it was the best dish of the cruise. Lunches were always the burger or burrito joints plus the special themed items of the day in the buffet. All were good and enjoyable. Learned from cruise critic members how to make a milk shake, and had many, many of these! The cruise director was always full of energy and friendly. The shows were as good as always. All the staff were kind and friendly.
