This cruise was a fantastic value in terms of what we paid for cabin & gratuities. We took Amtrak from Buffalo to Penn Station, which was fun, relaxing and much less expensive than flying. We are 50 & 51 years old, fit, active, love to eat (quality over quantity), don't drink very much. I'm a vegetarian/pescatarian but my DH eats meat or pretty much everything.

Things We Were Impressed with:

- ship was very clean and well taken care of

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin IC

We had an excellent location on Deck 9. Easy to take the stairs a few times a day to Deck 12 but nice and quiet too.

Port Reviews

Newport

In Halifax and Saint John we arranged our own rental cars, which worked out perfectly. In Portland we did a Cycling tour with Summer Feet, also excellent.

Halifax

Mini hurricane so that dampened the experience, but still Peggy's Cove is spectacular.

Portland (Maine)

We did a cycling tour, '5 Lighthouses" approx. 4.5 hours, with a lobster roll lunch included. Wonderful!!!
