First things Frist, For all those whom have read negative reviews about the Victory being old, rundown, smelly, etc. forget about it. The ship is old (2000) but it is very beautiful and well maintained. The crew is very friendly and cater to all your wants. If you have the grand illusion of dinning at 5 star restaurants, then you will be disappointed. The MDR is well staffed and the food is very good. Our trip was changed at the last minute due to Matthew so we ended up at the Grand Turck. Wind was very strong so all water excursions were canceled but Margaretville was still a blast. Ocean was very rough and the beautiful waters were cloudy to say the least. All in all for a first cruise and after talking to seasoned cruisers, I would recommend this ship to anyone. If you go into your cruise with the attitude that nothing will upset you , you will have a great time on this ship[.
Cabin was very clean. Joko our steward was very good and saw to every want we had. We had construction going on under us and were compensated for the noise the first night. It has the flat screen tv but I believe the bathroom is not updated because it was still pink
