First time om RCCL, after some cruises on HAL and Celebrity. Vision is a nice ship, not such a big ship, we loved this size. The ship looks well maintained.

We were a bit disappointed about the size of our oceanview cabin, smaller then on any other lines we sailed. My rating should be between poor and average for this. Beds were very good however. Bathroom is the smallest I have ever seen, with very little room in the shower. We hated that curtain in that tiny shower.

We brought our own shampoo, showergel, body lotion because we were warned this wouldnot be in the bathroom. We were supplied with just 2 small pieces of soap. Amazing as on every other line we always had that. Maybe RCCL should consider offering this in all category cabins. There was a sign re ice in the cabin, another sign about possible supplying that would be a nice detail.

Port Reviews

Venice

We took a cab from our airporthotel to the ship.

Dubrovnik

At the port we found a nice man with a van offering to show ur the highlights for abour 2 hours. After that he gave us 2 hours to visit oldtown . After that he picked us up and returned us to the ship. For a group of 7 we paid E. 120,-

Kusadasi

As we had visited Efese before (loved it, go there when this is your 1st time!), we simply took another cab that drove us around for abour 1 hour for only E. 20,-, the driver showed us some nice viewpoints in and around town. After that we stopped at the bazaar for some shopping and returned to the ship.

Santorini

We took the cablecar up (E. 5,- p.p.), walked a, little around and found another driver with van. He drove our group of 7 to Ioa, we got about 1 1/2 hour free time there. Interesting nice little place, we were rather early as after a while it got very busy. He came back to pick us up, we then walked Fira for a while. Had a nice local lunch and returned to the ship.Waiting time for the cablecar going up was about 15/20 minutes on the return in the early afternoon about the same. We heard waitinglines of 1 hour or moreoften happen during highseason, so be there in time.

In the morning MSC Orchestra was in port, later a 3rd ship arrived Costa Deliziosa.
