My son and i took this cruise thinking it would be a good way of seeing greece turkey and italy.we went aqua class honestly not really any different from concerage class .our first port of call santorini, what a beautiful island, wow where we in for a surprise 4 cruise ships anchored with around 8 thousand people from the 4 ships being ferried to the island by tender boats what a disaster we took a tour to the buried village the only thing good about this was it was under cover and could have been over in 30 mins instead of the 90 mins boring .then we where bused to the main village with a steep walk up to the main area we came across a long line we found out this was the line to the gondola to take us down to the water for the waiting tenders 2 & half hours later we got to the gondola what a shambles,as we staggered up the line we overheard local;s saying there was not supposed to be 4 cruise ships at one time visiting the island with everybody worried they where going to miss there ship hmmm not good enough herded along like cattle .next port athens 1 day would have been plenty the rest of the cruise except chania was ok most people we spoke with agreed it would have been better just cruising the greek islands. I Could Go On & On My Last Comment Romes Port Is A Shambles All Boarding And Disembarking Done Through A Large Marquee Tent Why Oh Why Could Celebrity Not Use Naples Which Has A Beautiful Cruise Terminal & Our Cabin Steward The Phantom We Never Did Get To Enjoy Our Bottle Of Champange

Port Reviews

Santorini

our dream destination kallisti the beautiful one. Did not disappoint scenery was spectacular but far to many people 4 cruise ships with 8 thousand plus people far to many for a little island to handle the line to the gondola was horrendous

Athens (Piraeus)

we used the local bus service to go and explore the sights which worked out much cheaper please note extra 20 euros each to visit the acropolis

Mykonos

We chose to wonder around by ourselves had a great time also used the local bus service to explore the island great value buses leave from close to the windmills

Naples

this port should be celebrities embarkation and disembarkation port nice well presented cruise terminal .we took a ferry over to Capri sadly the blue grotto was not working as the weather was to rough but the rest of the island was great ,but in busy times be prepared, if you choose the bus to get to the top of the island you will be jammed no joke. my tip dont miss the chair lift outstanding views of the island
