Went with just wife and I for our 35 year anniversary. Tons of fun in the casino, cigar bar, restaurants and Bermuda. Embarkation went smoothly, although we waited from 10:30 a to 11:30a to get onto the ship. Went directly to room to put away carry ons. Met Lawrence, our room steward. Slipped him a $20 bill the moment I saw him. That is how you do it folks. Immediate attention every moment thereafter. He helped us with everything. I also gave him him another $20 bill the last day since he really deserved it (yes, you do pay gratuities on your room bill). Restaurants were ok, but Savor and Taste had exact same menus. Maybe Manhattan room too. O'sheehan's Bar and Grill had awesome fried chicken wings Nathan's hot dogs and great burgers and we stopped there every nite after the casino/bar for a dozen or so wings. We had the free drink and specialty food packages. Cagney's steakhouse was awesome and we each had a 32oz porterhouse, yummy. LeBistro's has gone downhill and removed some good stuff from their menus as of May '16. Man, LaCucina's was just ok. The meat restaurant Modesto's was really cool since they keep bringing out different cuts of meat until you turn your placemet over to show red color. When you want more, turn it over back to green. Get the filet with bacon wrap, very juicy and tasty There's SO MUCH to write about on a 7 nite cruise.

Disembarkation was horribe trying to get off the ship as all the hallways and elevators (Oh man, the stupid elevators) were so crowded and you had to wait for a while to get one with room for 2 people). But we got off quickly and passed about 4,000 people since my wife used a wheelchair (bad ankle and knee). Gave another $20 bill to the Port Authority worker who breezed right thru customs with our bags. (we had 12 cartons of cigs and 18 bottles of liquor and 10 cuban cigars ). Zoom, right thru customs no questions asked. Our limo driver said (via cell phone) we had to wait across the street on 12th ave or wait on the street level since they weren't letting him go upstairs level due to excess vehicles. I told him our port worker left us already and we had no way to move everything and he better get upstairs to get us. He did about 5 minutes later. Great cruise and will do it again next year.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Huge bathroom and shower. Excellent shower message outlets. Toilet's flush button was a little funky as if it ignored your input and you had to wait a minute to try again. I really don't think it was a button malfunction, but a timing thing with all the toilets and flushing systems maintaining proper vacuum/pressure or something. The room safe worked well. Balcony kinda small but never really used it. Bed was VERY comfortable (beds pushed together).TV channels were very limited, like 4 or 5 local channels including Fox news and CNN news.
