We choose this cruise to once again visit the New England area during the beautiful fall foliage. Loved the day in Boston --12 hours-- wow have never spent the entire day in a port. We were able to meet friends from CT. who drove to Boston to meet us. Spend the day on Newbury street mostly, as we have been several times and have seen the usual things. We spent a pre-cruise night in Baltimore at the Renaissance Inner Harbor Hotel that was in walking distance to So many things to do.
Baltimore was absolutely hands down the best and easiest port for embarkation! My husband, who has a little trouble walking far, had no problem. No ups and downs, all on one level. Disembarkation was just as fast and easy!
Joan Sanchez the Diamond Concierge was the most helpful, gracious and always smiling host ever.
First time on back of ship. Loved the hum of the engines (or whatever it was making that light noise). Only a little rough during the turn from the Chesapeake Bay into the Atlantic due to "Matthew" or"Nicole". Loved the huge balcony. If you are staying on the back try to get the corner room.
Loved staying in the Inner Harbor and all the interesting places and dining within walking distance. Fleet Week is special!
Loved spending 12 hours in port! Met friends and went to Newbury street and had lunch.
Been here before also, so we met friends from Bangor Maine and had lunch at DiMillos.
Just did our own little touring on foot!
Loved Pier 22!
We had a Junior Suite 7650 at the aft of the ship, first time ever. We had an extended balcony as we were on the corner. Loved it. So many drawers and space to put things. Never used half of the storage. Walk-in closet had three hanging spaces and the lower drawers that I never used. Our room attendant brought ice every afternoon just as we asked. Was very patient when we sleep in late.
It is so interesting to see the newbies at The Quest Game. Hilarious!
