Great cruise for those living close to the SF Bay area for easy embarkation and disembarkation. The ports of Santa Barbara and San Diego offer a lot of things to do. Long Beach not so much, and Ensenada is, well, Ensenada, but it is needed to allow the ship to sell duty and tax free items.
Overall, the crew was excellent, we were treated very well by virtually every crew member. The food served in the dining rooms was very good, a good selection for people of all taste. The Horizon Court buffet offered a good selection of food which was of pretty good quality, a couple of items were a little inconsistent, but they are cooking for 1000's of people.
Service in the bars was consistently excellent. The entire bar staff provided excellent service.
Cabin was clean and comfortable, could have used a bigger closet. Balcony was average sized, but big enough for two people. Bathroom clean and functional. Linens replaced daily by cabin steward, Extra items quickly given upon request. Room was well cleaned seemingly every time we left the cabin.
Excellent Embarkation experience. Very fast and easy.
Only disembarked to use the free WiFi outside of the cruise terminal. Not much to offer in this port for our interests.
Took the shuttle into town, did a couple of hours walking around. Bought some souvenirs, grabbed a couple of beers and fish tacos, took the shuttle back. Nothing to write home about.
